Dow Jones Newswires: Bank of Canada remains ‘far’ from reaching 2% inflation target

Bank of Canada Gov. Tiff Macklem told Canadian lawmakers Tuesday that the central bank remains “far from the goal” of reaching 2% inflation while reiterating the central bank’s rate-rising campaign is near an end.
