IG Group sales, profit hit by European regulation
IG Group Holdings PLC (IGG.LN) said Tuesday that first-half revenue fell in line with its expectations following the introduction of new European regulations on retail trading platforms. The FTSE 250 company said net trading revenue came to 251 million pounds ($323 million) for the six months to Nov. 30, down 6% from the year-earlier half.
