London Stock Exchange revenue, profit rises

London Stock Exchange Group PLC (LSE.LN) said Wednesday its first-quarter revenue and gross profit rose, driven by growth in its information and post-trade services units. The exchange operator made a gross profit of 490 million pounds ($637 million) for the three months to March 31, up 6% from the year-earlier period, or 4% in constant currency.
